So we have returned
to the outer regions to follow the story of a tribe fighting for their very
survival against all odds and a force they could never have comprehended they
would be against…
Slava – Slava Smyslam

Nezgun started slava
as an experiment as he calls it, after being away for 2 years he decided to
return to tribal wars and see if he still had what it takes to be a leader in
this game, something many of us do during our time here. The pull of the
battlefield and the urge to lead others is just too great…
The tribe has had a
good run on this world reaching the top 10 gives it a status all look for,
something to be proud of in times of conflict and danger, and there is now a
lot of danger for them…
The weeks building up
to their current battles were very quiet, as is seen for many who do not need
to look at the core when managing their own K’s, but this tribe had a taste of
things to come when they encountered a player called Kami, he was from the old
“Onfire” tribe and he wanted Slava’s region for himself. So battle began, just
a few skirmishes between a larger player and a small rim tribe, nothing new in
this game, but as time passed it became clear Kami was not going to win like he
had expected, and the Slava tribe could see this.
With a lot of newbie
players Nezgun & the leadership pushed their members to practice the skills they would need if
they ever faced an organized opponent who was backed by their tribe. Sniping
noble trains became the lesson of the day, the bactime’s needed work but slowly
these players were learning the tools of the trade.
Unknown to Slava Kami
had stopped playing his account, an inactive of the world, when they realized
this, many took advantage and expanded their region that little bit more. The tribe
was feeling good, they had stopped the invader from taking their lands…
With no reason to
fight the rest of Kami’s tribe they held back, taking only villages that would
not upset the growing forces to the south, the two giants were growing larger
everyday…
Other tribes around
them tried to take them on with no real success, it was only a matter of time
before they had to face up to the fact ~MW~ & HotRex were expanding in
their direction, this was not going to be a battle they could win alone, their
ally LOVE spoke of how they would join the fight if it came, and send support
to those who needed it, this alliance was to be tested soon,
The winter break had
ended and the giants had awoken, the drive to expand was at its highest and now
Slava found themselves caught up in a fight for survival, the rim behind them
and now ~MW~ & HotRex coming to take their lands…
The incoming started
and the frontlines began to feel the squeeze, the number of offensive villages
at the disposal of these giants was beyond the imagination of most, thousands
of incoming attacks came from just a few players, but not just fake’s as many
would expect. Hidden in the waves of fakes were hundreds of nukes sent not to
clear for nobling but to simply take out troops. Confusion was going around
with some members not holding up to this onslaught it was down to a few good
men to step up and show the others that even giants can be slain.

Love were nowhere to be seen, although they had planned to help, very little was seen from them when the fighting started, they were alone, a few members had given up and left their accounts to be
internally nobled… a mistake that was taken advantage of by the giants, but
even then Slava kept pushing forward, re-capping villages when they were taken,
looking for the gaps in the trains and support orders…
The past training had
paid off, and they were fighting back.
Spirits were raised
by the taking back of villages lost, and a new life was breathed into many of
the players. Could this be a turning point?

without a lot of help…

question that I felt others would benefit from…
What advise could you
give to other rim tribes who face this situation?
“When it comes to
fighting against a far superior force, history is truly the best teacher. A
smaller tribe's best chance at defeating, or at least surviving, the looming
giant is the art of attrition. You can't just fight them head to head; you'll
lose without a doubt. They must be fought by skill. Sniping, dodging,
recapturing, prenobling to destroy a train, and launching clever attacks to hit
unguarded nukes, and to take poorly defended villages. The enemies are players
as well, and can be demoralized, and worn down and frustrated by failed attacks
on a perceived weaker foe. Persevere, stand together, and never lose hope. You
may not win, but you'll certainly last longer than if you scatter and despair.”
